will cut grass and dead cedar needles work well as mulch in my flower beds and garden?

Will I have to them in the spring, or will perenials grow through them? going to function well in the garden too? I have all cedar droppings as my trees are shedding a lot. Also, there are two different types of cedar trees? I've never had a cedar tree that lost this many needles ……….

Well, this is a year cedar "needles" which are the scales, but the leaves of the tree. The taxonomy or classification of cedar and family is complex, in which local names persist beyond the generic. True cedars are the most long needles of the tree that are generally known as a type of fir tree and the tree of knowledge cedar in general and gender is Yours. And the gender divide in Thuja and so on. So this is why multiple genres is simply known as cedar when it comes to gardening. Conifers are cone-bearing, and as such produce cones that can occur in one or more seasons, depending on the species, what could be instead of vegetative growth as a tree can not bear a great harvest and grow much at the same time. Thus, in alternate years, we increased cone crops on growth, and vice versa. This was the year of the needle and drop the scale for my cedars. So this is natural. This is known as biennial / perennial growth and reproduction cycles. Fresh pine needles must be degraded before the spread in the garden, in order to cause a coating of natural needle to be eliminated by exposure to the elements. This layer is originally required by the tree as a natural anti-desiccant to prevent excessive transpiration (loss humidity), resulting in drying and stress on the tree. Part of this chemistry is maintained after the fall of the needle, and acts as a deterrent to decay, and can be allelopathic (which causes stunted plant environment, a natural survival mechanism of conifers to reduce competition from other trees "for growing space). So if you are growing plants that will be padded with the material, I would in a open to the elements during the season, or use, but did not extend to depth. The worst that could happen is to be delayed a bit of existing facilities, not kill them. The needles are acidic, and are an excellent soil amendment for acid loving plants, including oak, blueberry, azalea / rhododendron holly, other conifers, grass clippings etc should not be used fresh, deep, for two reasons: it can decompose, and the mat down, creating a condition that actually repels water, and rot stinks, and rodents can nest there, and fresh grass clippings are high in nitrogen, and in fact stolen temporarily soil nitrogen, requiring more of your break. So let it dry first, then spread as mulch. You can avoid this, simply spreading in open areas of your garden to allow decomposition initially without affecting garden plants. Hope this helps.
