He was caught by the credit card fraud, and now what?
I live in Massachusetts. When I was 15 someone stole my credit card number one and tried to buy a DVD online. Needless to say he was captured and is now on my hard juvinile. Credit card fraud! Sounds too bad I can barely say it out loud. It is my only flaw in my recocrd. Nothing more than that. No criminal record. My record is not sealed. I have 20 and in college for criminal justice. Is all hope to get a job in this field? government agencies look at this and not accept me? Should I quit now? This me been bothering him for so long and I feel so desperate. Can anyone shed light on this? Can a person with knoledge tell me if this disqualifies me to get a work as a police officer (for example)? Work in the field of criminal justice is my dream and I want to follow my dream. I know it's the credit card fraud, but that is juvinile a difference? I was 15 years old! Do I have any chance? With a degree from Northeastern? Respectfully, Mike
haha Oh, shit! You're screwed. The credit card fraud is a federal crime. I have a friend doing eight years in prison for fraud credit and check cashing. It would make sense if the government does not hire for that offense on your record, even happened when you were a minor. You should have changed your IP and sends the DVD some other direction! You should have bought gift cards! Good luck with that haha
