The sale of a motorcycle in Queensland .. what papers do I need?

Hello everyone .. ok, I'm here being lazy .. but thought I would put 10 points in play at the same time. Its been a while since I've bought or sold cars. Currently I have my bike for sale and I'm not sure what documents I have to have an agreement, once it is made. Can anyone shed some light on exactly what documents I have to be completed before the buyer to appear to collect? ie registration documents, etc? The bike is registered and only 12 months old.

Meet the paperwork needed to close the sale. This includes not only the current record and pink slip, but buyers and sellers statement that can be obtained from your local Department of Licensing. If you have been consistent and have documentation in the archives of past services, pull it together and present it to your prospective buyer when they come to see the bike. This shows that you cared well for the bike for his life with you.
