My painted turtle shell peeling constantly, but never fall. Is this normal?
I realized that my turtles shell is peeling layers of transparent shell and I know this is normal, but around the edges of the shell, the peels will not fall. I realized that there are actually two or three transparent layers to shed stacked and not fall off. Is this normal? Should I trim a few component parts of the spill?
i pull my coat of turtle that is what they call and do it 2-3 times a year and I do. I wouldnt unles peel off loose and start to leave who do not leave eventually fall
