Wash house foundation?
I have a cabin in northern Montana, but no running water or septic system. There is a well on the property and would like build a laundry room next to the booth. I have an appointment for accessories as well Septic and necessary, but now I wonder what would be the best way to build foundation of the house cleaning. I plan on building a shed that is 8 'x 12' which will house a toilet, sink, shower, washing machine and dryer, and the tank pressure in the interior. I've got the willingness to put everything comfortably, but now I'm stuck on what to do for the foundation. I prefer to lay some gravel down and be based on the grade. I do not really poor or excavation concrete pillars. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. I suppose I should say what I am concerned with the basis of grade, but I prefer, is any movement in the shed can cause breakage in the water and drains. Is there any way to prevent this?
if you do not dig below the frost line for your foundation, the soil under the house will swell when it freezes and makes the walls roam. His best bet would be a high base with post and beam style structure, with posts buried at least 2 feet below the frost line.
