Best Career Strategies: How can blacks growing up during the 2010 Economic Crisis
Tired of your current job? The rapid pace of globalization makes it difficult for anyone to be secure. Given this reality, can afford to be satisfied with someone more confident with my future career options? As I conducted research to break the bonds of organization: How To get a fuller life in their current job, I have heard numerous complaints about bad bosses and organizations without mercy.
Although today's work represents an inspirational journey at work, rarely is a person willing to do something different. Many people become unhappy in their lives because they work in appalling conditions. However, you can find a way to be compensated for their talents, including if that means changing their environment or exiting. This article examines how an individual can gain greater confidence in their ability to grow through the exploration of strategies alternatives, even in the midst of downsizing and layoffs.
Economic Crisis
Economic problems continue to present a challenge to our economic future. The U.S. has lost 7.2 million jobs with the unemployment rate exceeding 10% since November 2009. This has been very problematic for the community black. The unemployment rate for blacks is more than 15%, with more than one in four is out of work. Companies have shed 11,000 workers from its payroll. Agencies state have had to lay off workers or permission. Millions of Americans are now waiting longer for food stamps, unemployment checks, and disability payments. Margaret Simms of the Urban Institute notes that "The duration of the downturn clearly has put a strain on resources that states provide." Therefore, our lives as things continue to unravel dependent disintegrate before our eyes.
Career Strategy
An economic crisis and an uncertain future require individuals to explore new personal strategies. For many people, happiness means more than having a job. By Yankelovich Monitor study one in 1997, only 25% of adults said "a lot of money" The success of meaning and fulfillment. Unfortunately, many people work in organizations that do not encourage their professional growth.
In my own situation, I have my main job, but to create my own business risk. This decision started my career and gave me a competitive advantage in the market.
This does not necessarily mean giving up your current job. Without however, involves a different mental journey. Marsha Sinetar, author of Do What You Love, The Money Will Follow, argues that individuals rarely take time for introspection: "Most of us think about our work or our race as a means to fulfill their responsibilities to families and creditors, to gain more comfort materials, and to achieve status and recognition. But we paid a high price for this kind of thinking. "
Therefore, you may need to change direction. These steps include the following: (a) make a personal assessment of their current work situation, (b) to determine its primary focus, (c) prepare a professional development plan in their work, (D) decide what you need to do to get your dream job, (e) measure the impact of changing direction, and (f) put in a positive support system.
Conclusion
Many individuals are rethinking their career during this economic crisis. Blacks are no exception. I see a feeling of despair that covers them. However, most people do not know how to get out of this vicious cycle of despair. People should continue to refine their skills and never let anyone else decide their future. It seems that few directors are concerned about employees' career development.
Therefore, I note that no get too comfortable in their work while the rest of the nation is undergoing unprecedented change. This article shows that you can mobilize and make control of their own situation. In fact, it is a critical step in achieving personal fulfillment and the acquisition of future wealth. Through this process, you will get knowledge to develop and improve their skills while pursuing their personal goals and dreams.
