
Beauty with an IQ to Match
Former Miss Malaysia Sarawak, Marlene Lim Hui Nee non-execution of the beauty queen from the pile, blessed as it is, with a high IQ match your look good.

"All these helped me a lot in developing my leadership, organizational skills and public speaking. "
Marlene intends to return to Perth to a one-year training to acquire professional experience in the pharmacy. She will return to serve in Miri pre-registration required for one year and up to three years public service working for the government to qualify for the license of a pharmacist.

Asked how she got started in modeling, she said it was by chance that she was spotted wearing pants and shirts by someone named Josephine Ching a modeling agency whom he met in a lounge.

Marlene wowed the judges did not expect a girl people of Sarawak to be more knowledgeable and eloquent than their mainland counterparts.

In 2005, she won the title of Miss Sarawak in Malaysia, more than two subtitles, and was also a finalist in Miss Malaysia-World 2005.

Third, in a family of five siblings – two brothers and two sisters – Marlene recalled that his mother was very strict, "but she is also a great support."

In Perth, she was placed in the top 12 of the hundreds of Participants in the Curtin Idol 2008 competition.

In relation to their experience in beauty pageants, said people tend to take less seriously because she was dressed or Sarawak and putting on makeup all the time.

She relied on the results can sometimes be pre-determined, especially when the winner, besides having a pretty face, could not speak proper English and have no knowledge deep in the Malaysian culture and history.

He noted that the local beauty contests became increasingly commercialized.

Marlene has fixed many models and beauty contestants, among them Amy Teo (World first runner up Miss Sarawak 2006), Charlene Chai (Miss Sarawak Model of the World 2008 and first runner-up Miss Chinatown Sarawak 2007) and Natalie Chiawa (Queen Miss Malaysia World 2008, Miss International Queen 2008 World level and second runner up Miss Charming cheongsam Miss Malaysia 2008).
On the difference between modeling and beauty contest, said the former general did not have a Q & A session, and even if it did, it will not be important compared with beauty pageants.
"In proportion modeling, body, height, size, and gateway and skills that are present important, not to mention photogenic. On the prospects of a modeling career in Miri, Marlene said a aspiring model was paid to RM50 per show, while higher rates as RM150 or more may be offered to title holders. Models could get rates higher in West Malaysia and abroad.
"Sponsors and organizers prefer models to earn the title, because of the expectations public and therefore should be willing to pay more for fame and most publicity.
"I'm sorry for that title holders taking only the offerings – even when the rate is low – because it will lower its value to the customer's eye, "he said.
Marlene was lucky have been guided by the right group of people. For aspiring models and beauty queens, your advice is stay focused and not be distracted by the glamor the event.
She firmly believes are important qualifications for a secure future, saying beauty and youth can not last forever.
