What I do in my office Garden
Every day I leave my back door, losing the concerns of the day, when I walk by my garden. Letting go of the memory of the tough guy on the street who broke through, the angry driver, the demands of the family. Releasing my own personal space as a mime a shot behind me there goes everything that has been pushing me, blocking my space, my expectations.
More and more vegetation and the tree, which passes to be in my own garden, the journey takes me away from the immediacy of the tasks, errands and obligations. Automatically begin to breathe deeper, slower, anticipating to peace are always here. The key is cold in my hand when I open the glass door of the office of the garden and step inside.
With the door closed, I leave the blinds closed and start the advanced two-ton-chin, who is ahead of many tai chi sessions. The set of eight times is fast, viable and successful. When performing consciously, is a direct path to a clean mind. First time through and I am aware of my breathing. The muscles of my office, recalling the conscious movement, without asking. I'm here, right now, moving carefully as I was taught. Centered and focused after the third race to decide to sit.
A sunny summer day I found a small drip with bright fabrics and antique furniture. I bought a stool zazen, just to sit meditation. In my stool I cleaned my office floor and garden. I pull my conscience and listen to the birdsong, the hum of distant traffic, the hum of a lawnmower. I hear a scratch tiny, like an insect on the cover. My mind still images.
Being present and aware throughout the day, it takes lots of practice. It is easier, without distraction, that is why the value of my room in the garden so much. It is an important tool for managing stress and promoting better health, experience more balanced. My calm your heart rate, systolic blood pressure stabilized at a healthy / balance diastolic. I can feel the beating of my heart. Telling the time for my inhalations and exhalations.
After a while, I'm fresh as if after a good night sleep. Not only refreshed, but happy my true self, focused and ready for business! Having their own room, tucked away in the jungles of my garden has been a sanity saver in a world of mania.
