this a good spot for my tree stand?
hello, i found a perfect i mean perfect tree to build a homemade stand. it is 4 trees that are right by each other in the shape of the 4 dots on a dice. the trees are on the top of a smaller hill so i get good visibility of my surroundings. my main concerns are that it is about less than 30 ft from my house.
directly in front of me is all woods. then to the left there is a little bit of trees and brush then a bunch of my sheds. my other concern is that this area has a lot of brush. and the visibility is about 50 yards. so is this a good spot for a tree stand? or will my house affect the possibility of deer? thanks. (also i live in Mid Michigan and my property has a lot of brush. i have to use my 30-30 or 12 gauge to hunt with. and this stand will probably be 6ft off the ground) and my house is behind the trees.
Too close to the house, most states the law says ya gotta be 150yds away from any building before you can shoot. Also what good is it if there is no deer sign around it ie tracks bedding areas food plots etc. that’s where you want your stand at.
