putting a concrete slab in the yard for a bball court, our ground is on a slope. how can we build up ground?

don’t want to take up the other area that is flat, it is the kids area and will have swings, shed, etc. Would like to put the court in the corner of the yard that is on a slope and would like to bring that corner level with the rest!!

its the same principle as a house slab..the choices r..u cut and remove the dirt..u then need a retaining wall where you cut the dirt away,,costly and u also need to pay to have the dirt removed…but u do end up with the same level as the rest of the yard..cheaper alternative is to cut/fill and taper…the level ends up about half the height from the lowest point of the yard and the highest point at the corner of your block…basically you take the dirt from the high side and move it to the lower side ,,so u end up with a level plot..then you taper dirt from the level u just made to the existing yard..it is a lot cheaper but you do not end up with a level equal to your existing yard (hope all this makes sense to u)
