"Planet Earth" DVD series – two different narrators?
I can not see the "Planet Earth" series currently on the Discovery Travel Channel. This channel is not available at this time through our satellite service. It comes on CBC in Canada in June. I did some looking around on the Internet and in some places, they say that the series is narrated by Sir David Attenborough DVD (sp?) and then the series promoted on Oprah, etc., is narrated by Sigourney Weaver. It seems to be the same exact program. Can anyone shed some light on this? I like to watch the series and I wonder if they are two different productions or production exactly the same with two narrators different. Thank you.
In fact, are the same series. The original version of transmission in the United Kingdom was narrated by Sir David Attenborough, by issuing U.S. version, was replaced by Sigourney Weaver. Discover Channel DVD release of the series has Weaver. All statements other Attenborough.
