How to build a wooden shed in just one weekend

So you have all these things (tools) that are stacked in a corner of his garage. You can not delete it – its IMPORTANT! His I have to go somewhere for a wooden shed is the perfect solution. Here's a quick summary of how do it in two days (let's assume that you have collected the materials they need from the local food store).

Day 1 – Foundation and frameworks

The first thing you need to do is prepare the site. There has to be level, in fact it is better if the soil is slightly pitched toward the back of the shed for water runoff. Remove large stones and debris. Because this is a weekend project, you will have to build the shed with a wood floor instead of a concrete one. If you really want to have a concrete base, this segment of the project in a week to allow drying. But the construction of a forest (or drag) Ground is not only faster, easier, less expensive and even somewhat portable. For this aspect, the use of ash (or patio) to fix the blocks of the word en. Make sure the blocks are level.

Now, let's start working on the actual construction. Once the beam floor opening first use as a template for the rest – the easiest and fastest. Here's another tip, by force, use deck screws instead of nails. A drill power screwing boards together does work fast. Once under the finished floor, make sure your square by measuring diagonally two corners, then the other two. Measurements should be the same. If not, take a corner with the highest adjusted measurement and pushing toward the opposite corner. Make small adjustments at a time. Key to the plywood subfloor to stagger the joints (like bricks). He does not want four corners of four different pieces of plywood to finish in the center of shed.

Construction of the walls is more or less the same process as building the palette of the word. If you want the windows of the nave, framed accordingly. To cover the sides, the use of T1-11 plywood. T1-11 has vertical slots cut in it to give the appearance of the tongue and groove walls, but that comes in sheets, the amount of time to put on the liner is cut down. Take one of the frames on the wall and place the T1-11 in the top (not down). Use the same method to make the walls square to use the word. Now nail the siding to the structure. If possible, buy, borrow or rent a router used to cut the lining of the studs all the way around the walls. Once you've put the walls together, you can now connect to the plant. Use temporary supports to maintain the walls until they have been screwed together. Be sure to use a level to plumb the walls (which must be perfectly vertical). This is a good place to stop for a day.

Day 2 – Roof, Door and Trim

Let's start today off by the construction of the armor. Just follow the plans and assemble all the pieces of armor first. Do not nail it together yet. If the pieces fit together properly, take each piece and use as a template for each of the relevant pieces of armor remaining. Now you can screw (or nail) the trusses together and include them in the top of the shed walls. Then cutting and nailing sheets of plywood for the roof. Like a house, for the installation of asphalt shingles, you must first put tar paper (fabric asphalt). Make sure you start from the bottom and overlap each row is increasing. On the upper ridge, use a couple of layers for strength. To apply tiles, offset the seams and work from the bottom up as it did with the tar paper. For the ridge, reduce the length of the tile (They come in a line three) in a single tile and nail them over the top. Be sure to overlap these too.

You must use a door in his shed that prefabricated to save you an enormous amount of time because all you need do is connect to the hinges. You have to stop the door trim.
