Does anyone know what religion or organization can have designs carved on the roof, and in other places storage buildings and such. The top of the house was about five things white wood about two feet tall and pointed. It was a white star inscribed in a circle painted on the shed. In the courtyard adjoining stone columns 2 feet in a rectangle and a few others scattered. There were also carved in wood gnomes in his backyard with tin covers. Without a picture to say the opposite, it sounds like an old house with lots of "gingerbread." (Ornate, usually decorations applied to a carved wooden house for decoration.) It was very popular through most of the 19th century until the Great Depression. The garden as described sounds like a typical "English" garden, also popular in the 1800s and early 1900s.
