If you think you know how to practice, practice this
I do not think there's no mystery to practice guitar. If you surf the internet for tips on "how to implement the 'The guitar, you might get dizzy. The number of websites that we decorate with their methods special practice on how to destroy or play like Jimi Hendrix in two weeks is overwhelming and confusing, to say the least.
Do you think that any of the large guitarists, athletes or actors just wake up one day and had these super human abilities? Probably not. Talent level aside. In short, all guitarists elite athletes, etc have some things in common, although their capabilities differ somewhat. Practice. Views grindstone, go to the woodshed.
They work, or to be more precise, practice, practice and more practice. You grow by increasing the contribution of knowledge to a slow pace, while practice for each piece of knowledge to perfect. It is not a contest or race, so no matter how long it takes to master something, keep practicing until dominates. Enjoy the experience. Not that bad!
Logically speaking, of course, is recommended to start with easy tasks to learn. Mastering a mission based happiness and confidence. These are two essential ingredients for success. You should enjoy their chosen art, in this case of the guitar, and must build confidence.
Michael Jordan was the greatest talent in basketball, ever. You may not want to believe, but true. He also had a reputation as the most intensely fierce in field during practice. He always pushed the other team mates too the limit. He made them better as well.
What did you think Steve Vai all day while developing into one of the greatest guitarists ever. Steve (Vai is obviously a genius and a graduate of the Berklee School of Music. If Frank Zappa could ask about the intelligence level of Steve Vai, assuming he was alive. Vai was transcribing Zappa's music when I was fourteen Vai). What would you think?
That said, the most important part of practice is to have the time and desire to go to certain types of musical information until get it. It is a discipline that requires much practice time. It's funny to think even practicing for a recital or concert or a basketball game. Gametime, time concert or concert time is the time when you play by instinct. No practice at the time. Period.
My point is that a lot of time is going to use practice of the guitar. I have read (and saved, but can not find) a reprint of a practice session Stevie Vai in Guitar World two years ago. It was a ten (10) hours / day practice. Broken down into steps, from warming through different left and right hand techniques and exercises, the mental part of its transformation in muscle memory.
No hassle I hope to have conveyed to you in this article that to be a guitar class, be prepared to do the old way. Lots of practice. There is no magic formula, unless it is a Voodoochild, or went to the crossroads to get on your knees!
Enjoy
